Are shoes allowed inside the house?
In an effort to keep the house spotless for your comfort, we ask our guests to refrain from wearing shoes inside the house, including outdoor areas such as the pool surround, pool bar, and terrace.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes! As Umbala The House is located in close proximity to another residential property, we would appreciate it if our guests can keep noises down from 11 pm to 8 am.
Are pets allowed?
As much as we love our animal friends, unfortunately pets are not allowed on the premises.
Are outside guests allowed?
Unless prior arrangements have been made with management, no outside guests are allowed.
Is there a minimum number of nights for each booking?
Yes, minimum nights are dependent on the booking. LOW - 2 nights / SHOULDER - 3 nights / HIGH - 4 nights / PEAK - 5 nights
Must we rent the entire villa?
During high and peak seasons, yes. During low season, for a discounted rate guests may rent two rooms with limited access to the house. However, booking priority will be given to guests who book the entire villa.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?
There are five uniquely designed suites, each with its own bathroom. There is also an additional powder room.
What is the maximum occupancy?
Our villa allows up to 15 guests.
